Teen Classes - Tickets Released in Summer
This new art class for teens is specially designed for students from the previous term 4 and 5 (back in April- June) that are now moving from primary to secondary school this month.
Older teens ages up to 15 years are welcomed to join but please keep in mind the focus will be on the teens aged 12-13 who have transitioned to new schools.
The classes are designed around students own interests. We will start term 1 with pencil drawing, but as the terms progress we may delve into different art mediums from charcoal drawing, painting, pastels etc depending on what students wish to explore.
This 6 week block of art classes starts on September 8th and runs till October 15th 2025.
Class will be held on Mondays evenings in The Presentation Art Centre, Enniscorthy. Time to be confirmed (possible 6-7.30pm)
Students will need the following Art Materials :
A plastic A3 Art handled folder (Mr. Price) to store the following :
an A4 *sketchbook for class projects. Paper thickness should be 110gsm or more. (Mr Price has an excellent brown sketchbook with a geometric animal on the front.)
A4 Watercolour sketchbook. Paper thickness should be over 160gsm. Best option is for paper thickness to be 200gsm or above, for best results)
Shading Pencils : B, 2B, 3B, 4B, 5B and 6B (Mr Price budget friendly)
Eraser & Sharpener
Fine-liner Black Ink Pens (Mr price has a pack of 5 available which includes various nibs that are great to draw with.)
Students are allowed to bring a light snack/drink should they wish.
As places are limited please book early to avoid disappointment.
