You can book one class or a few at a go.
In these classes I will teach your child about drawing. How to hold and use their shading pencils correctly. Learn how to break down any image they want to draw and focus in on any areas they particular wish to improve on with tips and tricks along the way.
The classes are designed around your own childs interest. In these classes, we have drawn anything from their dolls and teddies, variety of animals, sea creatures to pop stars, face placement, video games and much more. These 1:1 classes are especially great for students that might find group classes hard for any reason. They might be shy or find group settings difficult for fear of everyone knowing one another already or find the class chatter noise overwhelming. I work with kids of all ages, abilities and different ways of communicating. I feel that Art is a universal language of its own and in my classes we can communicate and learn through art.
Students will need to get:
A plastic A3 Art handled folder (Mr. Price) to store the following :
an A4 *sketchbook for class projects. Paper thickness should be 110gsm or more. (Mr Price has an excellent brown sketchbook with a geometric animal on the front. or a great plain black covered sketchbook that has 165gsm)
Shading Pencils : B, 2B, 3B, 4B, 5B and 6B (Mr Price budget friendly Sliver Tin)
Eraser & Sharpener
Fine-liner Black Ink Pens (Mr price has a pack of 5 available which includes various nibs that are great to draw with.)
Before coming to class I suggest on the back of their sketchbook students write down a few ideas of what they would like explore and create in the classes.
Children are allowed to bring a light snack/drink should they wish.
